It’s the night a child falls asleep not because they’re tired, but because there’s nothing left to eat. Where a mother stretches half a roti across three plates and calls it dinner. Where an old man on the pavement pulls his shawl tighter, hoping the hunger quiets down before the cold does.

At Hikmat Helping Hands Foundation, we’ve stood in that night. We’ve seen it up close, not as a number, but as a face, a name, a hand reaching out for a plate of food.

That’s why we run continuous food drives not a one-time gesture, but a promise we keep showing up for. Our volunteers cook, pack, and carry hot meals to daily-wage workers between jobs, families going through hardship, elderly people with no one left to care for them, and children who go to sleep hungry far too often.

But a promise like this needs more than good intentions. It needs rice, dal, oil, gas, transport, and hands willing to serve. It needs you.

Your donation doesn’t disappear into an abstract cause. It becomes a real meal, on a real plate, in front of a real person who was hungry an hour ago and isn’t anymore just because of a real hero like you.

We’re raising ₹5.5  Lacs to keep these drives running without a break, so the food doesn’t stop because the funding did. Every bit of kindness you extend reaches someone who needed it more than they let on.
